The Great Tree! Contest - DTLA Weekly

Information We Collect

By participating in The Great Tree! contest, you agree to provide and allow us to collect the following information:

  • Your name and email address
  • Location information (apartment building or plaza name)
  • Photos of your holiday tree display
  • Voting activity and preferences

Photo Submissions

By submitting photos to this contest, you:

  • Grant DTLA Weekly permission to use your photos for promotional purposes
  • Confirm that you own the rights to the photos submitted
  • Allow your photos to be displayed publicly on this platform and DTLA Weekly's social media
  • Understand that photos may be featured in DTLA Weekly publications

Voting & Ballots

Regarding voting and ballot purchases:

  • Ballot purchases are non-refundable
  • Each ballot allows one vote per category
  • Voting manipulation or fraud will result in disqualification
  • DTLA Weekly reserves the right to invalidate suspicious votes

Privacy & Data Use

Your privacy matters to us:

  • We will not sell your personal information to third parties
  • Your email may be used for contest updates and DTLA Weekly newsletters
  • You can request deletion of your data by contacting DTLA Weekly
  • Payment information is processed securely through Stripe

Contest Rules

  • Contest runs from December 1st through December 25th, 2025
  • Winners will be announced on December 25th, 2025
  • DTLA Weekly's decisions on winners are final
  • Entries may be disqualified for violating contest rules

By participating in this contest, purchasing a ballot, or submitting a tree entry, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
